As this podcast goes to air, I want to acknowledge today being Sept 11, 2021.. 20 years ago.. Americans watched in horror as the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, left nearly 3,000 people dead in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pennsylvania. And now 20 years later, we have watched in sorrow as the nation’s military mission in Afghanistan, which began less than a month after 9/11, came to a bloody and chaotic conclusion.

Have we learned anything?

The enduring power of the Sept. 11 attacks is clear: An overwhelming share of Americans who are old enough to recall the day remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news.

I do. I remember. I was on my way towards NYC.  I saw the air force planes flying and wondered what was going on.  It changed my life, for sure.  This event was when I took a vow to help raise the consciousness of our planet.  It shaped my work and what I do today in working with the Spirit.

I wanted to offer a moment of silence to all those that suffered and died … a moment of appreciation for these souls.

And the question looms.. Have we learned anything?

Where has that compassion and caring for each other that we saw after 911 gone?  Has humanity shifted?

Definitely a hard question giving everything we are going through now.. covid has been a different threat on society and it happened all over the world..  but look at all the fighting now.. mask.. vaxs.. lies about vaxs.. are we really look out for each other?

Definitely something to think about .. and for me .. to continue believing in the Spirit and that … slow as it seems.. and maybe a little backwards at time… we are sifting as we learn these lessons.

My prayer is that we continue to believe in the Spirit and the love for one another.  We are all one.

Transformations are not easy, and this shift that we are all in is not a comfortable one.

It’s important to believe that we are in an evolution and change is occurring for a better time.
