As this podcast goes to air, we just moved through the New Moon in Leo, a time for setting intentions with the courage of a lion.  Leo energy teaches us to show up courageously even in the face of fear.

As you expand your consciousness from all the light codes of the Lion’s Gate portal to a new level, you have the opportunity to break free of old patterns that have been with you for many generations.

This is not a time to play small or hide your ambitions. It’s a time to commit to a vision of your life that corresponds with your highest potential. It’s a time to find your own sovereignty and create a sacred home within and around you… which is the subject of today’s podcast.

Finding time for you is the place to begin. Noticing your connection to Mother Earth reflects the connection you have with yourself.  Are you too busy? Are you taking time for you? Are you honoring your place to create a beautiful sacred home for yourself and/or your family? Or do you keep these practices secret? Or maybe you don’t even have any personal practices.

Ready to connect with this part of you, and learn some spiritual tools, and techniques? Tune in to your intuition?  Schedule a Spiritual Makeover Call with me and let’s talk about how you can honor the sacredness within you. Click here.

In today’s episode, I wanted to bring forward this idea of the Divine Feminine and how it begins with taking care of and nurturing yourself.

I know in our fast-paced society, we can get caught up on the treadmill of life and start begrudging the very things that are so important… like taking care of our home, cooking, and cleaning. Many times we start to resent these rituals, only see them as chores and then we lose touch with the qualities that a home really needs.

I’ve been a single mom for most of my children’s lives.  There were some early years they don’t really remember and I was fortunate to have the time with them in those formative years.
Once they started school I found myself going through a divorce.  The divorce is what led me to find a spiritual teacher. Nothing else was working to calm the mind, the fears, and the anxiety of what I was going through. Once I started working with my teacher, I learned ways to create a sacred home for myself and my children. It added a new level of calm and peace to a home that had been torn apart.

This did make a difference in the values I was bringing to my children.  I was creating a sacred space for them to grow. It brought comfort, love and peace to us.

This is what the divine feminine is all about… the nurturing.. the rituals… the sacredness of our homes. Motherhood is an important job that includes mothering yourself for both women and men. Men need the mothering of self too.

In this episode, I wanted to take you back to a time that is mystical and held these beliefs in high esteem so that we can bring them forward into our modern-day existence.

My guest is Jhenah Telyndru. Her latest book, she has written many, is The Ninefold Way of Avalon ..   a path of priestessing that acknowledges and encourages the full spectrum of our spiritual gifts.  In this episode, we talk about King Arthur, the Women of Avalon, goddess spirituality, relationships we have with our world, seeking the Mother energy, the divine feminine,  culture as a reflection of Spirit, sovereignty, and ways to be in sacred service with ourselves.

Jhenah Telyndru is an author, educator, and priestess who has devoted her life to exploring the spiritual and mythic traditions of Wales and the Iron Age Celtic tribes of Britain and Gaul. A formally trained Celticist, Jhenah holds an MA in Celtic Studies from the University of Wales, as well as a BA in Archaeology from Stony Brook University. She founded the Sisterhood of Avalon in 1995, and serves as Academic Dean of the Avalonian Thealogical Seminary. Jhenah hosts residential training retreats around North America and the UK, presents internationally at conferences and festivals, teaches online workshops and immersion programs, and facilitates pilgrimages to sacred sites in the British Isles and Ireland through Mythic Seeker Tours. She performs rites of passage in her community, is in service as a Transpersonal Tarot Counselor and teacher, and is a certified Amicus Mortis (Friend of Death) through the Anglesey Druid Order. A priestess in the Avalonian Tradition for over 35 years, Jhenah has been following a Pagan path since 1986.

We have been gifted with desires and aspirations.

It’s time to step into your passions and fulfill your dreams.

Let it begin by creating a sacred hearth in your home that can connect you with the sacred mysteries within you.

Become co-creators of the world.

Activism is about following those impulses.

Go where the inspiration flows.

As Jhenah says, “Let your song uplift others even if it is sung in a different key!

Step into the person you are meant to be.  Follow that passion.

Let’s use the imagination and this ancient wisdom!
