As this podcast goes to air we are coming into a Full Moon in Aries on Sunday. The Full Moon is a time of opposition and a time of great reflection. On a Full Moon, the Sun and Moon stand directly opposite one another.
The Sun represents our masculine energy which is our doing side.
The Moon represents our feminine energy. This is our being or receiving side—the part of us that wants to use intuition to feel into our next steps.
On the Full Moon, masculine and feminine oppose each other in the sky, providing the opportunity to reconcile these parts within us.
This Full Moon is a time to align with your inner power and feel your courage to overcome any obstacle. It’s also a time to align with your passions. Aries guides us on the mission to find our soul’s purpose.
Finding this path takes commitment, motivation, and fearlessness. Our life path is not always an easy journey. This Full Moon is here to help you walk a little farther on it with more confidence than you’ve ever felt before. A daily Spiritual practice can help you with that.
All these cosmic forces and energy alignments I talk about on my Energy Focus for the Week which you can find live on Sunday nights on Instagram and FB. We talk about what’s going on, we align our energy, set intentions for the week and I pull the Tarot cards for guidance. Join me or catch the replay.
This is a time to know your energy … your truth … your voice. Your Spirit is so valuable at this time. That’s where the RITES come in to help you move through all this stuff!
Rites being Reiki… Intuition… Tarot… EFT and Stones & Crystals.
Using these tools and techniques can help you tend to the struggles in your life with inspiration, amusement, and joy. It can free you from the stress that Is going on in the world.
As we move through these comic transitions, now is the time to clean up your energy with an energy-clearing session. Schedule one.. in person or online. When you work with the energy body, it helps to release the old patterns and all that old stuff you’ve been crying around.
You will find your answers when you start going within and connecting to your soul and spirit.
In today’s episode, I wanted to offer a meditation on seeing yourself Standing in your Truth. I had several comments from last week’s episode and the question was… How do you do that … stand in your truth?
What does “Standing in Your Truth” mean?
It means you have the courage to both stand up for yourself and to speak up about things that really bother you, hurt you (or someone else), or are just not right for you as they violate your values.
Owning your truth is living an authentic life based on your inner wisdom rather than the opinions of others or societal measures.
The process of self-discovery is not striving to become the person we are supposed to be. It is removing what is not true so that we can be the person that we already are.
Many of us have built our lives according to what we were taught in childhood. We were asked to play a role that served our dysfunctional family system and not ourselves. We learned not to question the status quo, to follow unwritten rules, and to live in denial and fantasy.
Working on energy boundaries.. saying yes when you mean no.. people pleasing …is part of what I teach in my classes and private mentoring. Creating strong boundaries will help you to stand in your truth.
Human beings universally abandon themselves for four major reasons:
- Want to be loved
- Want to be accepted
- Want to feel safe and protected
- Don’t want to make waves.
When we abandon ourselves for someone’s love, pretending to be other than who we are in order to get someone’s love, acceptance, or approval, it is a form of self-abandonment.
Pretending to be other than who we truly are in order to get that love or acceptance or approval, is a form of self-abandonment. We’re letting ourselves go in order to blend in, to fit in.
Take a look for yourself. How are you showing up? How can you begin to stand stronger in your own truth?
My answer as to how I had the courage to stand in my truth and share my story is through a strong daily spiritual practice.
I offer you this meditation to go deep within your own self. Find that power within you to stand up for yourself.
Feel the self-love that comes from standing in your truth.
“What I know for sure is that you feel real joy and direct proportion to how connected you are to living your truth.” Oprah
