The Unknown Energy of Transitions

As the vibrant hues of spring begin to fade, making way for the warmth and radiance of summer, our lives, too, undergo a subtle shift.

Transition periods, such as the shift from spring to summer, carry a certain enigmatic energy. It is a time when the familiar gives way to the unfamiliar, and we may find ourselves standing at the threshold of new experiences and possibilities.

This unknown energy can be both exhilarating and daunting, as we embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted many of us to engage in profound soul searching and reevaluate the trajectory of our lives. The disruption caused by the pandemic has compelled us to pause, reflect, and question the paths we were once on.

This collective soul searching has created an opportunity for personal and societal course correction, allowing us to align our lives with our true values and aspirations.

Not only do I feel the seasonal transition, but I find myself in a life transtion as well. After my mom died, I decided to buy a house in Birmingham and gave myself 5 years to figure out what was next for me. I just reached that 5-year mark this past weekend.

Now what?   Where will I go?

Who is my community?  Who do I connect with?  Will I find these sacred connections no matter where I am?

These questions are essential to ask yet vulnerable to admit. These inquiries delve into the depths of our existence, exploring the places we inhabit and the people we connect with.

Transitions offer a chance for new beginnings and fresh perspectives. Rather than succumbing to stress or anxiety, I can choose to embrace the excitement like I embrace the changing seasons.

When we know ourselves, transitions in life can be empowering. The uncertainties that arise offer an opportunity for self-discovery and course correction. By embracing the unknown energy and navigating the challenges with resilience, we can make the most of any transitional phase.

The beauty of the quest for sacred connections is that they can be found in unexpected places.

Let us welcome the summer with open hearts and minds, ready to embrace the possibilities that lie ahead.
